This week ,my students have been working on a project: the tree project.

The students needed to create a tree using different materials, such as wire, cardboard, cable, ballons, cord, pipe cleaners, construction paper,... and what´s most important: their imagination!!

I asked them to create a tree with all those materials, label the different parts of a tree and write the functions of each part. They had to take into account which material fit better with each function (e.g.: cable would be good to show how the trunk of the tree transports water and minerals to the leaves).

They worked hard: (click on each picture to make it bigger)
