A map is a drawing of an area that shows the position of things (countries, rivers, roads, mountains, streets,...). Maps help us to understand the world around us. Most of maps have a key to help us understand the symbols on it.

  1. Blue: represents water.

  2. Green: represents plains.

  3. Yellow / Orange: represents plateaus.

  4. Brown: represents mountains.
